We are pleased to announce that the restrictions on dental practice have been lifted in
the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that University Ave Dental is once again able to see patients for routine care, including regular dental cleaning, restoration, extraction as well as Orthodontic treatment.
We will strictly follow and implement the provisions of the Ontario Dental Association, and provide strict protection measures for customers and employees; in addition, we have made some adjustments for our schedule, in order to avoid excessive staff working at the same time in the clinic, the clinic staffs and doctors are divided into two groups of shifts.
Our priority is the health of our patients, staff, and doctors, so during COVID-19 pandemic, our clinic will gradually open based on our clinic’s situation, the days and times you requested may not be available or subject to change with notice given. There are some changes we would like to acknowledge you before you show up on time for your appointment. Isolation screens have been added to the front desk. The clinic is equipped with several advanced air purifiers and ultraviolet disinfection lamps. All magazines, books, brochures, toys and decorations have been removed.
You will be screened before coming into the office and will have to complete a questionnaire about COVID-19 in via the COVID-19 Prescreen form link we send you over text of wechat. In order to ensure public safety, if you have travel history, suspected contact history, or fever and other symptoms in the past 14 days, please answer or fill in the truth.
Before you enter the clinic, please call 5198852878 or wechat to let us know you are here and our staff will give you instruction accordingly. When entering the clinic, you need to wear a mask accordingly and you need to wash your hands with alcohol-based hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the clinic. The reception room will not be in use. We recommend you attend your appointment on time and our staff will take you to the treatment room directly. Only the elderly, children, people with reduced mobility, and pregnant women who may require special care can have an accompany.
